World Music Day - Voice of Musicians in Telugu States

On June 21st, Alliance Française of Hyderabad and Lamakaan celebrate World Music Day - Fête de la Musique by organizing a round table discussion bringing together a wide range of Telugu musicians from diverse backgrounds: folk, classical, rap, Tollywood, ghazal, and music scholars. Musicians will discuss patronage, livelihood, and contemporary trends in the musical landscape of both urban and rural Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The discussion will be followed by the performances of the speakers and the audience will have the opportunity to experience diverse music genres on a common platform.
